You may have noticed that my blog has been very quiet since the Agile2017 conference last August and for good reason. Johanna Rothman and I were comparing notes during the conference. We were noticing either very little information or some outdated information being shared about distributed agile teams and organizations. Since we have both worked with distributed teams for years, we decided to fill that gap and write a book together.
While I have written many articles and blog posts, the idea of writing a book always seemed overwhelming. However, Johanna and I quickly determined how we could apply some of the principles we use with our distributed agile team to our book writing. The result has been an amazing and truly inspiring six months for me.
Soon we will release an early draft of the first 5-6 chapters. So stay tuned to my blog for more information in the coming weeks.
