I’ll keep this short as we are all busy this time of year. I just wanted to thank you all for continuing to be on this journey with me.

I’ve always liked this time of year. Not for the pomp and circumstance of holiday celebrations. I like the time to reflect. My part of the world slows down, allowing me to think about the past year and what I want to accomplish for the new year.

One question I’m thinking about (and my gift to you) is this:

What will you let go of to create space in 2024?

I gave up setting goals or New Year’s resolutions long ago. These days, I set themes. I’m thinking about some challenging themes this coming year. These themes require me to let go of things to make space for the new.

I’ll share those themes in the new year. For now, I’m thinking of bundling up a few things. I envision them floating off like the packages under a tree. They are gifts of the past. Some I will re-gift to others. Others will float off into history.

A Christmas tree on a small floating island on a lake with natural ornaments of wood and pine cones. Under the tree are some gifts wrapped in paper and twine. The lake is calm and reflect the image of the surrounding forrest. Night is beginning with a fading sunlight on the left and darkness appearring on the right, highlighted by a crescent moon.

What will you let go of in 2024 to create space for something new?

Hope this helps.
